Description :

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) is the skilling and placement initiative of the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), Government of India. The Vision of DDU-GKY is to "Transform rural poor youth into an economically independent and globally relevant workforce". It aims to target youth, in the age group of 15–35 years. DDU-GKY is a part of the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), tasked with the dual objectives of adding diversity to the incomes of rural poor families and cater to the career aspirations of rural youth.

Eligibility:
1. Rural youth between the ages of 15 and 35 years from poor families.
2. Should have Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) card or BPL PDS card.
3. Older than 35 years, there is a relaxation for women, persons with disabilities, victims of human trafficking and other vulnerable groups

Documents Required:
1. Voter’s ID card
2. Aadhaar Card or Photo ID card issued by Govt. of India
3. Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY) card
4. Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) or BPL PDS card
5. NRLM-Self Help Group identification or certificate for any member of your household
6. MGNREGA worker card of any member of your household, with a minimum of 15 days of completed work
